High-speed cuting steel  (HSS) scrap – this is scrap from used turning knives, cutters, drills, etc., for which the chemical composition is determined: C 0.75-1.4% W up to 18%, Mo up to 10%, V up to 4 %, Up to 10%. Exemplary grades: SW7M; SW18.

Tungsten carbide scrap – scrap cutting elements (triangular, square, etc.). Tungsten carbide is a tool material obtained by powder metallurgy from metal carbides. They are very hard and resistant to abrasion.
