How can you recognise an ind?

It is very soft (you can scratch it with your fingernail) and has a distinct silvery sheen. It occurs mainly as a by-product of manufacturing, rarely in its pure, bulk form. It is soft enough to be easily cut with an ordinary knife, much like lead.

Due to the high value and rarity of the item, we recommend that you contact us by telephone in advance of delivery.

Indium purchasing – pure indium, alloys and scrap

We purchase indium (In) in all forms – from pure ingots to production by-products. Indium is widely used in the electronics, glass and photovoltaic industries.

What do we accept?

  • pure indium – bars, wire, granules,
  • indium alloys, including the Eurasian teal,
  • production waste and ITO films.

The price of indium

The purchase price of indium depends on the quality of the material – its purity and form – as well as the quantity. The purer the metal and the larger the batch, the more favourable the rate.
