Once the raw material has been delivered, we weigh it and check it.
The valuation is based on the actual platinum content of the material and its current market price. We also take into account the presence of other precious metals, the form of the material, and the costs of processing and recovery.
We prepare heterogeneous materials for analysis using a method suited to their type — by remelting or other means of homogenisation and taking a representative sample. We then analyse the material in our laboratory to determine the metal content, which forms the basis for invoicing.
The prices quoted apply to orders from private customers. For larger quantities or business-to-business sales, the price is set on a case-by-case basis – it will be higher.
