The purest grade of aluminium – power cables and wires without insulation, a steel core or connectors. The material must be dry and free from grease. Steel-core cables (Al/Fe) and greasy cables are priced separately.
Window and door profiles made from 6060 and 6063 alloys – white, coloured or untreated, cut into lengths of up to 1 metre. The profiles must be free of seals, glazing, fittings and steel components. Isoprofile sections with a thermal break form a separate category.
A1 sheets, offset sheets and AlMg3 alloy sheets. Purity and thickness are key – post-production sheets without film fetch the highest price, whilst sheets with protective film or those thicker than 4 mm are valued lower.
Coolers with aluminium fins and copper tubes, e.g. from air-conditioning systems. We offer the highest prices for cleaned coolers, free from steel and plastic components. Coolers containing steel up to grade 10% form a separate category.

Aluminium is the type of scrap we purchase most frequently – in every grade (alloy) and every form. Pure aluminium is light but not particularly strong, which is why, in practice, alloys containing iron, copper, silicon, magnesium or manganese are used. These are divided into casting alloys and alloys for plastic working, and are used, amongst other things, in the aerospace, automotive, chemical and food industries, as well as in shipbuilding.
The purchase price of aluminium depends on its chemical and physical purity, as well as its alloying elements – post-production aluminium with a homogeneous composition commands the highest price. The aluminium price quoted on the LME (London Metal Exchange) is the metal’s exchange price, not the scrap purchase price: the purchase rate is determined by the LME, the euro exchange rate, market conditions and demand, as well as the grade of the material supplied.
