What does the buying process look like?

4 simple steps

1.

Please complete the form

You can call us, send us a message or use the purchase enquiry form

2.

Get a quote

Based on the information provided, we will prepare a preliminary quote

3.

Delivery

Please deliver the material to our branch in person or send it by courier.

4.

Weighing and payment

Once the raw material has been delivered, we weigh it and check it.

How can you identify niobium?

It has a silvery-grey hue and is corrosion-resistant. In practice, it mainly reaches us as a component of heat-resistant alloys and aerospace scrap. Niobium-titanium alloys form the basis of superconducting cables used in magnetic resonance imaging.

Accepted forms

  • bars
  • lumps
  • granules
  • powder
  • rods

We verify the niobium content in the alloys supplied by means of XRF analysis prior to quotation.

Purchase of niobium – niobium alloys and scrap

We buy niobium (Nb), its alloys and scrap. Niobium is used, amongst other things, in high-strength steels, the aerospace industry and electronics.

What do we accept?

  • pure niobium,
  • niobium alloys, including niobium-titanium alloys,
  • niobium scrap, powders and semi-finished products.

The price of niobium

We set the price on a case-by-case basis for each delivery. It depends on the quality of the material, its form, its niobium content and current market prices.
