How can you recognise neodymium?

In practice, you’ll most often come across it as a neodymium magnet — small but very powerful, and often coated in nickel to protect against corrosion. The attractive force of a small neodymium magnet can be surprisingly strong — they should be handled with care to avoid trapping your fingers.

Neodymium purchasing – magnets, alloys and scrap

Neodymium (Nd) is a rare-earth element used primarily in the production of strong permanent magnets. We purchase it in its pure form, as well as in components and industrial scrap.

What else do we accept?

  • neodymium magnets bonded to steel – e.g. from rotors and housings, without the need for dismantling,
  • neodymium alloys,
  • residues from the manufacture of electronic components containing neodymium.
